Vianne is an apparel brand based in Boca Raton. We run production in project based batches a few times a year and are looking for an experienced patternmaker and sewer we can bring on for each run. This is not a set part time or full time position. It is recurring project work with real volume each time, so the right person can earn well.
The pieces are simple and standard: a tank top and a short. Easy construction, nothing complicated. What makes this role is the volume and the consistency. Our first project is roughly 900 two piece sets, close to 1,800 pieces total, so a fast and efficient sewer has strong earning potential here since pay is per piece.
We provide the measurement spec (bust, waist, and hip per size) and all materials and notions. You draft and grade the patterns from our measurements, cut the fabric to those patterns, and sew the finished pieces to a consistent standard across the full run.
What you will do:
- Draft and grade patterns across all sizes from the measurement spec we provide
- Cut fabric to pattern (cutting is part of this role)
- Sew tank tops and shorts start to finish at volume
- Hold quality and sizing consistent across a large batch
- Meet firm project deadlines
What we are looking for:
- Proven patternmaking and grading experience, must be able to show past work
- Strong sewing skills, comfortable with lightweight cotton knit fabric
- Skilled and accurate at cutting fabric to pattern
- Fast and efficient at volume, not just one off samples
- Reliable and available when projects come up
- Basic English is fine, you do not need to be fluent. Spanish speakers welcome.

- You supply your own machinery: sewing machine, serger / overlock, and standard patternmaking tools
- We provide all materials and notions
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
