Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing issues using schematics, blueprints, and mechanical knowledge to determine the best repair or installation approach
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipe threading, fixture replacements, and system upgrades
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and construction tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely on construction sites or remodeling projects
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise work aligned with project specifications
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation, system repairs, or remodeling projects while adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members on construction plumbing projects, HVAC integration, or site remodeling efforts
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematic updates, repair logs, and inspection reports
Skills
- Strong background in construction plumbing with hands-on experience in commercial or residential settings
- Proficiency in welding, pipe threading, and using various hand tools and power tools for plumbing tasks
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and related mechanical equipment
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques
- Skilled in basic math for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues
- Familiarity with carpentry, assembly work, remodeling projects, and handyman tasks to support diverse job requirements
- Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation between job sites
