Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage bar inventory, including restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations; handle food and beverages responsibly.
- Handle cashing out guests, balancing cash drawers, and performing cashiering duties with accuracy using retail math skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including serving at nightclubs or banquet events.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele positively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating versatility across different service environments.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift supplies when necessary; capable of working flexible night shifts including weekends.
