Receiving & Operations Associate — Luxury Retail
Full‑Time — Santa Fe, NM
We are a made‑to‑order, artist‑driven luxury retail brand seeking an exceptionally detail‑oriented Receiving & Operations Associate. This role is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, tagging, and documenting all incoming luxury goods — including jewelry, belts, buckles, and handbags.
You will be the first set of eyes on every item that enters our store, making precision, consistency, and problem‑spotting essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming jewelry, belts, buckles, handbags, and accessories with meticulous accuracy
- Inspect items for defects, inconsistencies, or order mismatches — even subtle ones
- Tag and label products according to brand standards and merchandising requirements
- Create and manage invoices for incoming goods
- Maintain organized back‑of‑house inventory systems and storage zones
- Communicate clearly with sales, operations, and management teams
- Support daily store operations, including stock replenishment and product staging
- Identify discrepancies early and escalate issues proactively
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in receiving, retail operations, or inventory control
- Exceptional attention to detail — able to spot small defects or mismatches in luxury goods
- Comfortable handling jewelry, leather goods, and handbags with care and consistency
- Strong accuracy in documentation, invoicing, and tagging
- Reliable, organized, and consistent in following SOPs
- Tech‑comfortable (Shopify, Sumtracker, or similar tools — training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet in a retail environment
