At Mon Jardin, once you join, you’re a part of the family! With our center going on 10+ years of satisfaction from our families and staff as a standalone private childcare learning center, we believe that effective communication, stimulating activities, and bringing fun whenever we can, brings success and comfort to our children and parents that we service here. We like to bring the utmost comfort and joy to our families by having them involved and in the know with their child’s development. That is why we utilize learn as you play guides for age-specific curriculum and programs. All of the programs are carefully designed to advance children developmentally, intellectually and socially. We service children, ages 6 weeks to 12 yrs, and are open M-F, 7AM-6PM.
Responsibilities
If you're a team player and love children, this is the job for you! We are looking for individuals who would like to become assistant teachers in our daycare with/without previous experience.
- Ensuring the safety of each child
- Collaborating with lead teacher in providing care for children (aiding in setting up meals/snacks, keeping classrooms clean, providing nurturing environment, changing diapers)
- Aiding lead teachers with Creative Curriculum weekly lesson plans based off monthly/weekly themes (training will be provided to learn)
- Maintaining partnerships with birth parents/child's caregivers to engage and encourage parent participation in program
- Responsible for assuring compliance with codes of all State and local governing contracting agencies.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet and exceed all state child care licensing requirements
- Possess a teamwork mindset, strong communication skills, organization skills and problem-solving ability
- Ability to establish great relationships with children, staff, and parents
