We are a premier commercial cleaning company looking for a dynamic, part-time or full-time Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you won't just be sitting behind a desk—you will be the face of our company in the local community. Your mission is simple: visit commercial locations (and targeted residential areas), check in with decision-makers to see if they are genuinely satisfied with their current cleaning services, and offer them an unbeatable alternative.
Because we are aggressively expanding throughout the Roanoke Valley, we have a massive competitive advantage: we are actively offering new clients premium services at rates 20% to 30% lower than what they are currently paying. If you can start a conversation, we give you the pricing leverage to close it.
Core Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Territory Mapping & Planning: Research, identify, and map out daily target zones (e.g., medical offices, car dealerships, industrial parks, retail centers) to maximize field efficiency and minimize driving time.
- In-Person Field Prospecting: Conduct high-volume, professional drop-ins to targeted local businesses daily to establish an initial face-to-face connection with decision-makers.
- Satisfaction Assessments: Initiate brief, friendly conversations to execute a "cleaning satisfaction check," actively listening for service complaints, reliability issues, or budget frustrations.
- Value Proposition Delivery: Introduce our premium services and confidently present our aggressive introductory offer (saving them 20% to 30% over their current provider).
- Facility Scoping & Discovery: Visually inspect facilities and gather crucial logistical data needed for pricing (e.g., estimated square footage, flooring types, number of restrooms, and required cleaning frequency).
- Competitor Intelligence: Tactfully discover who the prospect's current cleaning provider is, what they are paying, and where their service is falling short.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a persistent outreach schedule via phone and email to follow up with decision-makers, keeping a clean tracking system/CRM with accurate contact info, pain points, and scheduled next steps.
- Contract Closing: Deliver tailored, highly competitive pricing proposals to prospective clients, handle objections, and secure signed service agreements.

- Schedule: 3 Days a Week or 5 days a Week (Flexible Day Shift, Monday–Friday)
- Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour base + Uncapped Commission
- Estimated Total Earnings: $21,215.00 - $45,760.00+ per year (Base hourly rate + Uncapped Commission)
- Experience: Outside sales or customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
