The Treasurer Opportunity
Position Overview
The Treasurer will:

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Board of Education and Superintendent.

Oversee financial operations with integrity, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance.

Lead long-term financial planning and maintain fiscal stability.

Communicate clear, timely financial information to stakeholders.

Maintain strong internal controls while aligning resources with district priorities and student needs.
District Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Ohio school finance, accounting, law, budgeting, forecasting, and public records.

Experience with payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, grants, audits, and internal controls.

Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and accurately.

Commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership.

Experience supporting long-range planning and aligning resources with district priorities.

Ability to work collaboratively with the Board, Superintendent, administrative team, staff, and community.

Strong organizational leadership and the ability to support, guide, and develop fiscal staff.

Valid Ohio Treasurer license or evidence of eligibility.
