At Apple Spice of Greater Boston, we bake our signature bread fresh from scratch every morning for corporate clients throughout Greater Boston. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking baker who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality, and is comfortable working independently.
Whether you're an experienced bread baker or an accomplished line cook, pizza maker, pastry assistant, or prep cook looking to expand your skills, this is an opportunity to join a growing company with a predictable schedule and a great team.
What You'll Do
- Mix, prepare, proof, and bake fresh bread from scratch each morning
- Follow recipes and production schedules to deliver consistent, high-quality products
- Assist with food preparation for our commissary and corporate catering operation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen
- Occasionally assist with local deliveries when needed
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a commercial bakery, restaurant, or food production kitchen preferred
- Bread baking experience is a plus, but we're happy to train someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for food
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Able to lift 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willing to assist with deliveries as needed
