Friday Contracting & Construction Group LLC is hiring a Residential Remodeling Helper to assist with hands-on residential remodeling, repairs, drywall, painting, exterior work, demolition, cleanup, material handling, and general job site support.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and interested in hands-on construction and remodeling work. The right candidate should be comfortable working on residential job sites, following direction from a foreman or lead carpenter, and helping keep projects clean, organized, and moving forward.
This role is a good fit for someone with general construction experience who wants steady work, a variety of projects, and the opportunity to grow within a contracting and construction company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with hands-on remodeling, repair, and general construction work
- Help with demolition, job site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
- Assist with drywall installation, patching, sanding, and repairs
- Assist with bathroom remodeling, interior renovations, and general repairs
- Assist with interior and exterior painting preparation and cleanup
- Assist with exterior repairs, trim, siding, carpentry, and general construction tasks
- Follow instructions from the foreman, project lead, or company owner
- Help keep job sites clean, organized, and safe throughout the workday
- Protect customer property and maintain a professional appearance on job sites
- Identify material needs, job site issues, or safety concerns and report them to the lead
- Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and properly
- Maintain professional communication with homeowners, vendors, and team members
- Show up on time, ready to work, and willing to learn new skills
