Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to assist with general maintenance across our rental properties in Cleveland and Cleveland Heights. This is a great opportunity for someone with an open schedule who is experienced in general plumbing, electrical work, and home repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, snaking drains, unclogging toilets)
- Conduct basic electrical work (e.g., replacing switches, installing light fixtures, replacing fuses)
- Patch and repair drywall and wall holes
- Repair or replace door frames and change locks
- General property upkeep and troubleshooting maintenance issues
- Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Attend utility appointments and inspections as needed
- Conduct property pre-inspections to ensure units meet company and Section 8 standards
Skills
- Previous experience in general maintenance, renovation or handyman work
- General knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common household issues
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must have access to tools and reliable transportation
- Must be punctual, professional, and able to work independently

Pay: $25.00 per hour
