YellowHammer IT is an established technology company specializing in cutting-edge security and access control systems, fiber networks, Streaming TV and integrated low-voltage solutions for luxurious condominium towers and commercial properties along the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast.
We’re hiring one experienced Access Control Technician. This is a long term position for someone with strong hands-on expertise who can lead installations, mentor junior techs, and deliver reliable, high-quality systems on complex multi-dwelling unit (MDU) and commercial projects.

What we’re looking for:
- Significant hands-on experience with commercial access control systems, Brivo a big plus and low-voltage wiring
- Strong construction or commercial installation background preferred
- Proven ability to read plans, troubleshoot complex systems, coordinate with general contractors, and complete projects independently or as lead
- Must reside in Florida or Alabama
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and professional “can-do” attitude
- Clean background (we work in secure buildings and high-end properties)
- Alabama and/or Florida low-voltage or electronic security licensing is a major plus (we provide licensing and renewals as needed)
