Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality finish carpentry work that enhances the aesthetic and functional aspects of residential and commercial projects. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior trim, moldings, cabinetry, doors, windows, and fixtures with precision.
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute detailed finish carpentry tasks accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for woodworking, framing, and installation projects.
- Perform surface preparation including caulking, plastering, sanding, and painting to achieve flawless finishes.
- Install siding, stucco, roofing components, flooring, tile work, and other wood or composite materials as specified in project plans.
- Conduct restoration work including water damage repair, mold remediation, rebar installation for concrete forms, and structural repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless coordination on-site while maintaining safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential carpentry with a strong background in finish carpentry techniques.
- Familiarity with interpreting construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with woodworking machines and metal stud framing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read construction plans accurately.
- Prior work on projects involving drywall installation (including plastering), cabinetry installation, door hanging, siding application, and fixture mounting.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety procedures related to power tools and heavy lifting.
- Industry experience in restoration projects such as water damage repair or mold remediation is a plus; certification in related fields is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
