Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using Toast POS, processing transactions efficiently with cash handling and cashiering skills.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to guests in diverse settings.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food properly and adhering to food safety protocols throughout your shift.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management, ensuring prompt service even during busy hours.
- Assist with catering events or banquets by setting up stations, serving guests professionally, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Engage with guests to promote sales of beverages and menu items while creating a lively and welcoming environment.
- Prepping food in the kitchen and running it to the tables.
- Hybrid position.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for transactions and retail math calculations.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all applicable laws and regulations; certifications in responsible beverage service are advantageous.
