Cherokee Town and Country Club is seeking an energetic and relationship-focused Full-Time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will manage the full cycle of recruitment process for Cherokee Town and Country Club, ensuring the Club attracts, hires and retains exceptional talent who embody the Club’s service culture. This position partners with department leaders to identify staffing needs, develop effective recurring strategies, and provide outstanding candidate experience from initial contact though onboarding.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will serve as a brand ambassador for the Club and plays a key role in promoting Cherokee Town and Country Club as an employer of choice within the private club industry.
This position comes with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $72,000/year based on experience and the following great benefits and perks.

Essential Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define position requirements, and establish hiring timelines. Source qualified candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, the company careers page, employee referrals, professional networking, hospitality associations, colleges, trade schools, and career fairs. Develop and post engaging job advertisements, conduct phone screenings, coordinate interviews, facilitate individual and group interview sessions, and support hiring managers with candidate evaluations and hiring recommendations.
Maintain accurate candidate records within the HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS), provide regular updates on recruitment progress, and present qualified candidate shortlists to support current and future hiring needs. Prepare and extend employment offers, answer candidate questions regarding compensation and benefits, ensure completion of all pre-employment and onboarding requirements, and coordinate weekly New Hire Orientation sessions while communicating onboarding expectations and schedules. Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source-of-hire, to evaluate recruitment effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Schedule for this position
Primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred.

Previous hospitality or private club recruiting experience is a plus.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
