The Goddard School® located in Pflugerville, TX is growing and looking to add a caring, energetic, and reliable Afternoon/Part-Time Teacher Assistant to our amazing team of Early Childhood Educators. We are hiring specifically for an afternoon schedule of 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. You must be able to work with all ages, ranging from 6 weeks old to 5 years of age.

High school diploma or GED
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to safely support young children
Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
Empathy, patience, and a genuine love for working with children
Preferred:
Prior experience in a licensed child care center
Experience supporting infants, toddlers, or preschool-age children
As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll partner with a Lead Teacher to create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities include:
Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
Assisting with daily routines, activities, and curriculum implementation
Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
Demonstrating warmth, kindness, and professionalism at all times
Building positive relationships with families
Being dependable, flexible, and a great team player
