Position Summary
We are seeking a energetic highly organized and dependable Warehouse Coordinator / Shipping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. This individual will be responsible for managing packing and shipping activities, maintaining warehouse organization, overseeing inventory accuracy, and ensuring orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, and comfortable using inventory management software such as Microsoft Suite to track stock levels, shipments, and inventory movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping products.
- Coordinate and oversee order fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movement, stock levels, and order processing.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight providers.
- Ensure proper packaging standards are maintained to minimize shipping damage.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist management with reporting, inventory forecasting, and operational planning.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and carrier systems.
- Experience with inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Employee Background check required.
- Employees must be clean and well groomed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment operations.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning systems.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
- Experience managing warehouse personnel and workflow.
- Multilingual is a plus
