Overnight Pet Sitting – Boarding Opportunities
Curly Tail Care Company is an award-winning concierge pet-sitting company providing exceptional, personalized care for pets in their own homes. We are currently looking for dependable, compassionate animal lovers to join our growing team in the South St. Augustine area.
What You'll Do
- Overnight pet sitting in clients' homes
- Drop-in visits
- Dog walking
- Optional in-home boarding (for qualified sitters)
Please Note: Approximately 90% of our business is overnight pet sitting in our clients' homes. Most overnight assignments range from 3–8 consecutive nights, with some lasting longer for extended vacations or international travel.
Is This Position Right for You?
This position is a great fit for retirees, semi-retired individuals, or anyone with a flexible schedule who loves animals.
Because overnight care is our primary service, this position may not be the right fit if:
- You have pets at home without reliable care while you're away overnight.
- You have children or caregiving responsibilities that would prevent overnight stays.
- You have another job or regular commitments that limit your availability for multi-night bookings.
Our clients trust us with their pets and homes, so reliability and uninterrupted care are essential.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Genuine love for animals
- Pet care experience is a plus
- Comfortable using a smartphone and scheduling app for appointments, updates, and communication
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Professional, dependable, and excellent communication skills
- Background check required (candidate pays initially and is reimbursed after 90 days of active service)
- Must agree to a Non-Compete Agreement
- References encouraged
Boarding Opportunity
We are also looking for select sitters who can board pets in their own home. Boarding providers must have a safe, clean home environment and pass a home evaluation before being approved. Additional boarding requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
Compensation
- Independent Contractor (1099)
- Earn 60% of each completed client invoice
- Paid via bank transfer or Venmo
- Gas and tolls are not reimbursed
