Family Connections Consultant qualifications and duties
Evening and weekend availability is a must
Job Duties
- Candidates must have the ability to work in a clinical setting and perform duties such as but not limited to intakes, family engagement opportunities, affirmations, behavior modification, curriculum engagement
- Coordinate referrals in a timely manner as designated by Pinnacle Leadership.
- Assist families with community resources and current community outreach programs should they be appropriate.
- Assist in the creation of healthy family dynamics as well as positive parenting tactics deemed acceptable by the State of Arizona
- Complete and assist in the completion of family assessments while also maintaining the ability to effectively communicate assessed needs and concerns.
- Crisis management experience is a plus
- Assist in parental skill sessions while promoting healthy family functioning and the negation of current or potential risk factors
- Participate and conduct in family skill building activities necessary to enhance child safety and well-being.
- Must have ability to work in collaboration with the Department of Child Safety related to child well-being and case planning.
- Assists and coordinates all necessary meetings with families and State personnel to achieve family milestones and continued service engagement
- Consistently provides clinical records and progress notes promptly following agency standards that reflect movement towards client goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field with a minimum of one (1) year of human services work related experience.
- Positive and effective communication is required for client and internal staff engagement.
- Ability to maintain confidential/sensitive information including but not limited to client files and DCS communication/Coordination.
- Proficient in all Microsoft aspects including but not limited to Word and Excel
- Must be able to meet training and agency requirements
- Must be able to promote consistent and positive interactions while maintaining a professional environment
- Must be able to display and assist in a culturally competent setting
- Must have valid Arizona department of public safety level one fingerprint clearance card (Fingerprint Card can be obtained upon hire).
- Valid Insurance must be always held with documentation to confirm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
