Duties

- Facilitate engaging lessons in literacy, math, physical education, and other core subjects to stimulate young minds.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies.
- Support children with special education needs and early intervention programs to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction.
- Plan and organize age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, motor development, and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss developmental milestones, progress reports, and individualized learning plans.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, child welfare policies, and daycare standards.
- Incorporate literacy education techniques such as tutoring and phonics into daily routines to enhance language skills.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Proven classroom management skills with the ability to create an organized learning environment.
- Experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to develop creative lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development strategies like Montessori methods.
- Familiarity with special education techniques and early intervention programs to support diverse learners.
