Duties
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including transit vans, and delivery automobiles
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at multiple customer locations throughout the day
- Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper lifting practices, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Communicate professionally with clients upon delivery, addressing their questions and building strong customer relationships
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records using organizational skills
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs promptly, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices for heavy items
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries or merchandising tasks
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage schedules, delivery documentation, and route planning effectively
- Have a working cell phone with unlimited data
