Pilsen Plaza Corporation is a family owned company with more than 30 years of collaborative experience in the real estate industry. We primarily operate retail malls that license spaces to operators, typically located in immigrant communities.
Position Description
We have an immediate opening for a Leasing Agent in the Chicago (Gage Park and Little Village) area. The primary responsibilities are to attract prospective licensees / operators, manage relationships with current licensees and plan and oversee events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new licensees and customers by reaching out to the respective communities
- Answer calls, texts, emails and other direct messaging inquiries from licensees and customers
- Communicate and set up meetings with prospective licensees to show them around the malls, spaces available and amenities that best fit their needs and budgets
- Maintain relationships with existing licensees and lines of communication between property managers and licensees
- Consult with the property managers on any negotiated or discounted pricing of spaces
- Plan and execute events, such as holiday events, that promote increased foot traffic
- Assists in other marketing efforts in the community to promote the property positively and to help bring in prospective licensees and customers
- Translate announcements, advertisements, meetings and other communications between English and Spanish to accommodate licensees and customers
Requirements
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Sales experience preferred
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Computer skills required (e.g. leasing software)
- Must be able to speak and write in Spanish
Pay Range and Hours: $19-20 an hour, approximately 32-40 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
