Duties
- Perform electrical diagnostics on underground electronic inspection systems, identifying faults and troubleshooting issues with efficiency and precision.
- Conduct field service repair, and maintenance of subterranean electrical equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and soldering irons to perform electrical soldering and component replacements.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting guides to accurately diagnose system problems.
- Repair and maintain AC/DC electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards for low voltage applications.
- Conduct computer hardware diagnostics related to underground control systems and network connectivity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions for electrical system upgrades or modifications, ensuring optimal performance.
Skills
- Strong electrical diagnostics skills with experience in troubleshooting complex AC/DC electrical systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, soldering techniques, and diagrams.
