Pizzeria Deville in Libertville, IL is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Host/Cashier to join our front-of-house team. This position is the first and last point of contact for our guests, so professionalism and great customer service are essential.
We serve homemade pizzas in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and efficiency matter.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements
- Answer phones and take carryout and delivery orders
- Accurately process cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain an organized front counter and host stand
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff
- Assist with guest questions and ensure overall satisfaction
- Support team members during busy service periods
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or cashier experience is not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling cash and POS systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
