- Open to working in Saturdays 9-3.
- Should have at 1 yr experience, should have experience with implants, root canals and extractions.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts- Provide support to front office staff as neededRequirement
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of Open dental and other dental practice management system
- Familiarity with medical records, HIPAA regulations, and infection control protocols
- Experience working with scanning technology is a plus
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Proficiency in taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
