Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Person.
Well versed in analyzing and processing HUD recertifications.
Process and submit tenant recertifications and Interim in the TRACS system.
Ensure accurate data entry and management of tenant information, including income, family composition, Interim Recertifications, Annual Recertifications and EIV.
Monitor TRACS submissions and resolve any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
Yearly OCAF rent increases
Utility allowance every three years
Rent comparison study every 5 years
Register buildings with MDR and HPD
Renewal SAM yearly for nine entities
DHCR apartment registration
Managed HUD secure system
Must have a strong knowledge of HUD guidelines, and excellent organizational skills.
Communicate with property managers to obtain all outstanding tenant data.
Assist in preparing and reviewing files for upcoming MOR file audits and inspections conducted by HUD and other regulatory bodies.
Address and resolve tenant and landlord inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly.
Stay up-to-date with HUD regulations, policies, and TRACS system updates.
Knowledge of the Accounting / Accounting background useful.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in housing assistance programs, specifically with HUD and TRACS.
Strong understanding of HUD regulations, compliance requirements, and rental assistance programs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with property management software FHA, BJ Murray, MRI, and TRACS systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Occasional travel to Sites for audit preps and training of staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
