As a Budtender at Jersey Meds, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities include providing personalized guidance, sharing knowledge about our products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant dispensary environment while promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Provides insights, expertise, personalized guidance, and a tailored experience to each customer by explaining the potential advantages of the premium cannabis products available.
- Guarantees prompt and thorough resolution of customer inquiries or concerns, escalating unresolved issues to management as needed.
- Accountable for accurately receiving, coordinating, and fulfilling customer orders by utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems in compliance with company, local, and state policies.
- Adapts to changing sales volumes, actively engages in continuous learning, cultivates an inviting atmosphere, and ensures a clean and well-stocked dispensary, aiming to provide a positive experience for all customers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through tailored product recommendations and exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies to ensure compliance.
- Contributes to nurturing a positive work environment by valuing everyone with respect and dignity, while instilling a genuine enthusiasm for all things related to the cannabis industry.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management staff
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
- Optimistic, service with a smile attitude
- Retail experience preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Able to handle cash counting transactions
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must pass any required background checks
- Strong knowledge of retail technology platforms and systems
- Metrc and Dutchie experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs, as well as stand for extended periods
- Accurate customer ID and age verification.
- Able to use Google and Outlook efficiently
- Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends and holidays.
