Calsak Plastics is in search of a CNC Saw and Router operator to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating both the Hendricks HKS 4200 panel saw and Laguna Smart Shop II Elite CNC router. This candidate will also assist in packing customer orders and other warehouse functions as needed. Attention to detail, high quality work, and enthusiasm will make a candidate successful in this role!
What are the key role responsibilities?
- Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, customer specifications, & materials
- Identify material requirements, pull from stock, load, and unload from equipment
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces
- Supervise machine as it runs and make adjustments as needed
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs
- Inspect finished product to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed

Work Environment:
- This position primarily operates in a machine shop environment with exposure to machinery noise, oils, and debris.
