Duties
- Assist technicians with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire services, and minor mechanical repairs
- Learn to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Support the team with vehicle inspections, alignment setups, and general maintenance procedures
- Help with heavy lifting and moving vehicles or parts around the service bay as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and proper procedures during all repair activities
- Develop skills in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair through on-the-job training
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for learning about automotive repair and maintenance processes
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with vehicle operation is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive fluids is advantageous
- Strong customer service mindset with good communication skills
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Prior dealership or mechanic experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
