We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Automotive Photographer to join our creative team! Duties
- Capture compelling automotive images and videos using professional photography lighting equipment and videography tools, including drones for aerial videography flight operations.
- Manage all aspects of post-production editing using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications to ensure images meet brand standards.
- Execute shot composition with precision, applying principles of color theory and color management to produce vibrant, true-to-life visuals.
- Conduct filming sessions that highlight vehicle features, interior details, and dynamic motion shots to tell engaging visual stories.
- Operate commercial drones safely and effectively for aerial videography to showcase vehicles from unique perspectives.
- Collaborate with the art direction team to develop creative concepts that align with marketing goals and client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements, deliver on deadlines, and incorporate feedback seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive photography and videography with a strong portfolio demonstrating shot composition and visual storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools for photo editing and video production.
- Knowledge of photography lighting equipment, photo manipulation techniques, and image processing workflows.
- Experience with aerial videography flight operations using commercial drones; certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of color management principles and color theory to produce visually appealing images.
- Ability to operate photography gear efficiently in various lighting conditions; familiarity with photography lighting equipment is essential.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to interpret creative briefs clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of social media management strategies for promoting visual content across multiple platforms.
- A background in journalism or art direction is a plus for developing compelling storytelling angles.
