Supervisor needed manage daily activities of Distribution Center. It is critical that this position is engaged in all current activities to ensure the DC is working safely to its fullest potential and accomplishing the tasks to meet corporate goals and objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ecommerce:
-Champion all safety guidelines and requirements.
-Interface with both company ERP systems, UPS Worldship & Fedex shipping programs.
-Perform daily inspection of all operating equipment. Reporting any need for repairs or service.
-Verify pulling stock from correct parent materials and sourcing correct packaging materials.
-Accurately marry shipping documents to products for 100% accuracy.
-Ensure all shipments are processed be End of Day to maintain 100% shipping on time.
-Organize, receive, re-order shipping materials.
-Manage and maintain all E-commerce product inventories. Performing daily inventory counts.
Distribution:
-Customer orders are set-up, picked, staged and loaded accurately and in a timely manner. This includes any additional paperwork required by certain customers.
-Manage the inventory of the DC by creating and maintaining processes to ensure accuracy and quality.
-Accountable for the safety of the DC team by proactively identifying unsafe conditions and making the appropriate corrective actions.
-Directly supervises all DC team members within the shipping department.
-Accountable to continually improve performance by implementing new technology, training and processes.
-Manage the Ecommerce direct and fulfillment center orders to obtain corporate quality and on time delivery goals.
-Champion all aspects of inventory management.
-Work with our maintenance manager to maintain P.I.T. P.M.’s and service.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Logistics preferred
Skills:
-Must have 3-5 years experience in a leadership role in a union environment preferred
-Excellent verbal and written communication.
-Familiar with WMS and E1 ERP systems
-Proficient with Microsoft Office
-Ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply in all units of measure.
-Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail are a must.
-High Level of Self-Motivation
