Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management and custodial services, with experience in commercial cleaning environments such as hotels or hospitality settings. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Supervise and lead a team of cleaners to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
- Implement effective cleaning procedures and protocols to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaned areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns related to cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles, preferably in a commercial cleaning or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
