Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server/ bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and server area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist with running food as needed, ensuring high standards of food safety are met.
- Operate the Toast POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Buss and take tables as necessary to maintain an enjoyable dining environment.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and special promotions.
Experience
- Previous bartending and/ or serving experience in a fine dining or upscale environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
