Job Summary

In this role, you will support bartenders and servers by maintaining a clean, organized bar environment, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring smooth operations during busy nights. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be key in delivering top-notch hospitality in a lively nightclub or banquet setting. Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning spills, washing glassware, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health standards
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling garnishes or assisting with light kitchen duties when needed
- Buss tables and clear empty dishes promptly to keep the dining area tidy and inviting
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately when handling cash or card payments
- Help with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring all areas are organized and ready for service
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally, addressing their needs courteously, and fostering a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred; banquet or hotel experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering tasks
- Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and maintain high standards of hygiene
- Experience with food handling, catering support, bussing, and general restaurant operations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of the food industry standards and safety protocols
- Kitchen experience or barista background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events in a lively nightclub or hotel setting
