Registered Dietitian - Nursing Home
Located in Manhattan, NY
Salary: $70K to $75K range; based on experience
A beautiful, privately owned, long term care, nursing facility located in Manhattan, NY is looking for a strong Registered Dietitian.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Registered Dietitian:
- Direct, supervise and coordinate all the functions and activities and related to clinical nutritional care.
- Develop, or review and revise, and implement policies and procedures to assure compliance with JCAHO standards, and federal and state regulations, laws, and guidelines.
- Develop the monthly Performance Improvement Clinical Nutrition Report.
- Develop and implement plans to facilitate the provision of high quality and appropriate nutrition care to residents.
- Participate or lead interdisciplinary teams, committees, and FS mangers meetings.
Requirements of the Registered Dietitian:
- Must have 2+ years' experience as a Registered Dietitian
- Must have experience in long term care/skilled nursing
- General knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices
- Proficient in dietary practices, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations
