Automotive Mechanic – LS/Mopar Custom Fabrication Swaps | Bilingual Preferred

Castro Automotive is expanding! We’re currently seeking hard-working, skilled Automotive Mechanics who are bilingual or multilingual to join our performance-driven team. If you have experience with LS / Mopar swaps, Custom Fabrication swaps, and engine rebuilds — we want to hear from you. Bonus pay available for candidates with bodywork experience or knowledge.
Position Summary:
As an Automotive Mechanic at Castro Automotive, you'll take on high-performance builds and detailed repairs with precision and pride. The ideal candidate is passionate, reliable, and experienced in engine swaps and diagnostics. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all vehicles meet performance, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete LS / Mopar Custom Fabrication swaps, and engine rebuilds
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, brakes, suspensions, and other key systems
- Conduct minor transmission repairs or rebuilds (not required, but a plus)
- Assist with auto body work if qualified
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used
- Collaborate with the team to ensure shop efficiency and high-quality service
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with LS and Hellcat engine swaps
- Strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair
- Knowledge of powertrain systems and electrical diagnostics
- Bilingual or multilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Familiarity with transmissions and bodywork is a strong plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: $24.30 - $40.00 per hour
