Duties
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining spaces.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems for cash handling and processing customer transactions accurately.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring product freshness.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling of all food products.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain high standards of service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation methods are advantageous.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays.
