What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Assistant General Manager, you’re the right hand to the GM and a key driver of daily operations.
- Lead and support a team in a high-energy dog daycare environment
- Oversee safe, structured play in rooms with 20–30+ dogs
- Jump into playrooms when needed to support the team
- Coach team members on dog behavior, safety, and engagement
- Ensure all dogs are safe, happy, and properly managed
- Handle pet parent communication with confidence and care
- Keep the store clean, organized, and running efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and lead from the front.
- Proven leadership or management experience
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Calm, confident decision-making in fast-paced situations
- Reliable, accountable, and team-focused
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Available 4 days a week for MOD shifts
- Are at least 18 years old
Dog Daycare-Specific Requirements:
This is where we separate “likes dogs” from “can lead in a dog environment.”
- Comfortable working in playrooms with large groups of dogs (20–30+)
- Ability to read and respond to dog body language (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Confident in interrupting and redirecting dog behavior when needed
- Comfortable being on your feet for long periods and staying physically active
- Willingness to clean frequently (accidents, spills, deep cleaning, etc.)
- Ability to work in a loud, high-energy, sometimes chaotic environment
- Comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Able to handle strong odors, noise, and physical demands of daycare work
