Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Roof Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of roofing systems.
The ideal candidate must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
Applicants MUST have a minimum of 3 years of consistent, hands-on roofing experience.
This means:
- You must have worked directly on roofs for at least 3 consecutive years
- Experience must involve actual roofing work such as repairs, inspections, maintenance, leak detection, or installation
- General construction, handyman, maintenance, or labor experience does not qualify unless roofing was your primary responsibility
We will NOT consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect roofs for leaks, damage, and deterioration
- Perform roof repairs and preventative maintenance
- Identify roofing issues and recommend corrective action
- Work with various roofing systems including flat, tile, shingle, and waterproofing systems
- Repair leaks, flashing, drains, seams, and roof penetrations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe condition
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Document work performed and communicate findings to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of consistent roofing experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, methods, and repair techniques
- Ability to identify leaks and troubleshoot roofing problems
- Ability to work safely at heights and on ladders
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift regularly
- Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working on rooftops for extended periods
