Seasonal Candy Packager / Store Associate (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Stever's Candies, a cherished Rochester tradition since 1946 is growing, and we're looking for friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented team members to join our team at our 620 South Avenue production facility and our 623 Park Avenue retail location.

Schedule
Packaging Facility Hours
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- 20–40 hours per week
Retail Store Hours
- Monday–Sunday
- 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
- Typical shifts are 4–8 hours
This position will primarily work at our packaging facility and will also be cross-trained to assist in our retail store during our busiest holiday seasons.
Seasonal Position
- Start date: As early as August
- End date: Friday, April 2
- Includes a paid two-week trial period to ensure it's a great fit for both you and our team.
Packaging Responsibilities
- Package chocolates and candy according to daily production needs.
- Pack finished products from a conveyor line.
- Ensure products meet our quality standards for weight, appearance, and presentation.
- Maintain packaging speed while meeting quality expectations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and well maintained.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Work collaboratively as a reliable member of the team.
- Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed.
Retail Responsibilities
As part of your cross-training, you'll also help in our retail store during our busiest holiday seasons by:
- Delivering warm, knowledgeable customer service.
- Helping customers discover their new favorite sweet treats.
- Restocking displays and shelves.
- Gift wrapping purchases with care.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
Qualifications
- Previous food production or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to carefully follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Able to stand, bend, reach, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Dependable, hardworking, and enthusiastic.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
- Professional attitude and reliable attendance.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
