An appliance sales company in Enterprise, AL is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to help manage day-to-day financial operations and support continued growth.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) aging
- Process daily deposits and perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss (P&L) reports
- Generate and review balance sheets
- Submit invoices and sales tax filings
- Process and maintain payroll tax records
- Prepare and understand W-2, W-3, and 1099 forms
- Perform account audits and balance reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist management with financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Experience with payroll taxes, W-2s, W-3s, and 1099s required
- Ability to prepare financial statements and reconcile accounts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Sage 100 software is a significant plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
