We are looking for passionate, qualified, talented, and positive individuals to grow with the company as we expand in the upcoming year. You will be making cakes, tarts, pies, cheesecakes, cookies, specialty cakes, cupcakes, and much more. This is a full-time position from 7am - 3pm.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares product according to established recipes
- Gathers ingredients and other supplies from pantry as required for daily operations.
- Inspects product for quality during and after baking and adjusts processes as required.
- Bakes, mixes, and decorates, components for seasonal menu items.
- Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Completes production sheets and other records as required.
- Follows all allergen cleaning steps and regulations.
- Follows food safety regulations at all times.
Job Requirements
- Good attitude and receptive to feedback.
- Desire to grow as a baker and team member.
- Ability to work well as part of a diverse team.
- Fun to work with.
- Has an understanding of production and ‘from scratch’ baking.
- Knowing what it means to work with a “sense of urgency.”
- Ability to work while standing for an 8-hour shift.
- Current food handlers permit or ability to get one.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Ability to move and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to frequently lift 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Adaptable to a changing environment and able to take on new tasks as needed.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous bakery experiences a plus but not required. We are happy to train the right person!
Compensation
Starting wage: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour.
Wage Range: $20.00 - $26.75 per hour.
