Electrical Service Technician Level II

Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and diagnosing all levels of electrical circuits.

3 phase motor
-
Generators and switchboards.
-
Motor starters and start/stops.
-
Steering Systems.
-
Alarms/Automation
-
Xenox fixtures
-
Grounding systems
-
Must know how to use multi-meter/ amp meter/ megger.
-
Terminate most common types of electrical equipment.
-
Read all types of prints.
-
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to pumps.
-
Supervise and train tech level III.
-
Assist in managing projects as assigned.
-
On-call for a (7) seven-day period.

Travel occasionally for the company to work at other locations.
-
Follow all of Rio Marine’s safety and operational policies are followed.

Any other duties as needed or directed by management as it relates to Rio Marine Inc. Operations.

Rio Marine is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation and overtime is required.
Qualifications:

Education
-
High School diploma or equivalent
-
Physical
-
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances.
-
Ability to work in all adverse weather conditions.
-
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and gangways up to twenty-five feet in height.
-
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time.
-
Ability to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.

Personal Background
-
Must be capable of acquiring valid TWIC.
-
Must have a valid driver license.

Must have a clean driving record with no DWI convictions.
-
Must pass a criminal background check.
-
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Practical Experience

Previous experience in electrical service industry

Good communications skills

Professional manner in dealing with other employees, management, and customers.
