About the Role:
WagMore Animal Hospital LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our caring team in Saint Charles, MO. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and wellness visits for companion animals
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions using evidence-based medicine
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and follow-up care protocols
- Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures including spays, neuters, and soft tissue surgeries
- Interpret diagnostic results including bloodwork, urinalysis, radiographs, ultrasounds, and CT results
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and disease management
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Active Missouri veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one
- DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and client education abilities
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and dedicated to animal welfare
