Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and components for menu items with precision and efficiency
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by managing prep work and plating assistance
- Follow all food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures diligently
- Contribute to menu planning ideas and help implement new culinary concepts when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Prior experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus but not required
