Job Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of warehouse personnel and will also be responsible for the supervision of the warehouse team members. The Warehouse Supervisor will supervise all warehouse employees, including but not limited to, loading, unloading trucks, assisting customers, maintaining inventory levels, and performing other duties as assigned. The Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse employees are performing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
·Provide leadership and supervision to all warehouse employees.
·Ensure that warehouse employees are performing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
·Ensure that all warehouse employees are complying with OSHA safety standards, health standards, and health standards.
·Ensure that safety standards are being followed at all times.
·Provide training to new employees.
·Ensure that the warehouse is clean and neat at all times.
·Assist in the daily operations of the warehouse as well as other functions within the facility such as but not limited to: maintenance of truck facility, receiving, storage areas, office areas, etc.
·Maintain inventory levels at all times.
·Assist in maintaining a clean work environment.
· Participates in maintenance of equipment & facilities
· Maintains proper rotation in coolers & warehouse
· Reports questionable product quality to COO
· Loads / unloads trucks in safe & timely manner
·Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements:
· Forklift Certification
· Able to lift up to 50 lb. to shoulder height
· Ability to take direction & work as part of a team
· Minimum 5 yrs work experience
· Shift flexibility – able to work evenings, weekends, holidays
Examples of Duties:
· Check Freezer, dry-storage, and cooler temperatures daily
