Duties
- Supervise students during bus transportation, ensuring they follow safety rules and behave appropriately
- Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely at designated stops
- Communicate clearly with students, drivers, and school staff to coordinate safe operations
- Support students with special needs or those requiring additional assistance, including those in special education programs
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment, ensuring safety equipment is in place and functioning properly
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school personnel
- Experience working with students in classroom or teaching environments is a plus
- Reliable transportation to scheduled routes and punctuality for shifts
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist students as needed throughout the shift
