Position Overview
We are seeking a Property Accountant to support the financial operations of our multifamily portfolio across Tennessee. This role offers direct exposure to ownership and the opportunity to play a key role in tracking and improving property performance.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, producing accurate financial statements, and helping leadership better understand property performance through reporting and analysis. You do not collect rent in this role.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable
- Track and reconcile rental income and property revenues
- Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple communities
- Assist with month-end close and journal entries
- Build reports to track key performance metrics
- Conduct lease audits and resolve discrepancies
- Partner with property managers and internal teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience (multifamily/property accounting strongly preferred)
- Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or similar software preferred
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple properties

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
