Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct inspections of building systems to identify potential issues before they escalate into major problems
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, filters, valves, sensors, and electrical wiring with precision and care
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility improvements or upgrades
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs
- Lead or assist in training team members on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair and maintenance in commercial or industrial settings
- Familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Construction experience is a plus for supporting facility upgrades or installations
- Effective leadership skills to guide team members during maintenance projects or emergency repairs
- Excellent communication skills for documenting work orders and collaborating with team members
- Certification or training in HVAC/R or refrigeration is preferred but not mandatory
