St. Nicholas Cathedral School (SNCS) is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, resourceful, and mission-driven Administrative Operations & Family Services Coordinator to join our administrative team.
Located in the heart of Chicago's Ukrainian Village, SNCS is a vibrant Catholic elementary school serving students from Preschool through Grade 8. Our school is committed to academic excellence, strong Catholic values, and serving families with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.
This position plays a central role in the daily life of the school by supporting students, families, staff, and school leadership. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the school.
- Welcome and assist students, families, visitors, and community members with professionalism and warmth.
- Support enrollment, registration, student services, and student records.
- Coordinate required student records and compliance documentation.
- Support financial operations and reporting.
- Maintain employee records and assist with onboarding and personnel documentation.
- Coordinate purchasing, office supplies, vendor relationships, and operational projects.
- Assist with facility operations and maintenance scheduling.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate administrative records.
- Create donor acknowledgments and provide administrative support for development initiatives.
- Support the creation of school communications, newsletters, flyers, correspondence, and other school publications.
- Create and schedule engaging content for the school's social media platforms, highlighting school events, student achievements, and community outreach.
- Assist with marketing, enrollment, and community engagement initiatives through print and digital communications.
- Experience updating the school website or other digital communication platforms is welcomed and considered an asset.
- Identify opportunities to improve office systems, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with school leadership on special projects and school-wide initiatives.
- Perform additional duties that support the mission and daily operation of the school

- Can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Is comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Learns new technology quickly and confidently.
- Is highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, databases, and online management systems.
- Is resourceful and comfortable researching solutions and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Has outstanding writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Has experience creating engaging content and managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Has an eye for creating attractive flyers, newsletters, marketing materials, and professional communications.
- Experience with website updates, graphic design, photography, or digital communications is considered an asset.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment.
- Demonstrates professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of the Ukrainian language is an asset.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
