Carpentry/tile/drywall
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively
- Frame walls, install siding, doors, windows, cabinets, and fixtures according to specifications
- Perform residential carpentry tasks such as trim work, flooring installation, drywall finishing, and plastering
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, water damage restoration, and mold remediation as needed
- Use construction estimating skills to assist with project planning and material procurement
- Conduct heavy lifting and assembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols for power tool safety and construction site standards
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or remodeling projects
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with wood construction materials including siding, framing lumber, drywall, and trim components
- Hands-on experience with woodworking tools, metal stud framing, fixture installation, caulking, stucco application, and flooring installation
- Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as water damage repair and mold remediation is a plus
- Ability to operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently in a construction environment
- Prior experience in construction estimating or working from detailed construction plans is advantageous
